Rainfall Totals for the watershed

The Watershed includes counties:
All of Banks, SW half of Stephens, most
of Franklin, All of Madison, most of Oglethorpe,
northern Wilks, the lower tip of SE
Habbersham and the easter tip of Jackson
counties.
​
The Upper Watershed the is responsible for
the water that passes by the BRO. Included are
these counties : All of Banks, a small percentage
of Habbersham, about half of Stephens, most of
Franklin, the upper third of Madison and a sliver of
Jackson Counties.
​
There are but 3 permanent river gauges on the
Broad River system. The only gauge farther upstream
than the BRO is located on Grove Cr near Commerce
and I-85 /US 441. Fortunately there are 6+/- citizen
reporting rain gauges in the CoCoRaHS system.
