The Broad River Outpost
Kayak and canoe rentals, shuttles and camping. We sell water proof bags and boxes, snacks, drinks and have wooded camping on location. The BRO is located 23 miles from UGA campus in Athens, 2 hrs or less from Augusta, Atlanta and Macon, 30 minutes from Hartwell and 1 hour from Anderson, SC.

Reservations recommended so as to allow for adequate staffing and not standing in long line and not dealing with crowds of people coming at the same time.
No Rentals during severe weather in our immediate area or dangerous or extreme river conditions.

No styrofoam coolers or glass containers.
NO GUNS
Limited supply of 'loaner' coolers available and for sale

Please stay on the river to avoid trespassing
and respect private property rights.
The Broad River Watershed Association, BRWA, is
our local land trust and river protector.
We suggest a $1 minimum parking donation
Help protect the Broad River by donating and/or becoming a member / volunteer of the BRWA.org

$35 per person
Extra shuttle charge for doing both the UPPER Section1and the LOWER Section 2.
Private boaters $20 per person and boat for a shuttle. NO inflatables including rafts and tubes.
