Instructional Clinics and Guide Service
Clinics are every Sunday with a minimum of 3 persons.
Instructors are ACA whitewater certified
Cost : $60 per one day clinic which includes the boat, paddle, PFD and shuttle
( any group of three persons can schedule a "custom" clinic
at a time convenient to both the group and instructors (s)
Instructors can also be used as 'guides' on trips.
Minimum charge per guide is $70 per day.
Canoe Clinic's will be scheduled monthly
on last Sunday of month.
We recommend ( not required) a minimum of experience before taking clinic
as it will greatly accelerate the learning experience.
We recommend using the Keowee to experience a kayak in moving water
and the use of the double bladed paddle.
The Keowee is a wide stable kayak with oversized cockpit suitable for first timers
and can be rented through the Broad River Outpost or Altamaha Wilderness Outfitters
Reservations with deposit required.
